The options which appear for a PDF document opened by AOO 4.1.1 using the PDF import extension on Windows 10 are completely different from what you're reporting. The option you report for AOO 4.1.1 is what I see in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. The options you report for OOo 3.1 are the options that I see in Adobe Reader on Windows 10. The options you get when you right-click on the document which has been opened are dependent on what application that opened the document. It seems like really basic functionality. Could I download them and then rotate them Sure, but Id rather not and I really cant fathom that there isnt a way to do it in google drive. This has nothing to do with the different OS or transferring files from another computer. My problem is Im opening pdfs from attachments in Gmail, which are opened with google drive viewer by default, and I dont think theres an option to change that. When right-clicking a PDF document opened in Draw there is no option to rotate the document. That extension opens PDF documents in Draw. Have you installed an extension that lets OOo 3.1 and AOO 4.1.1 open PDF documents? If so, where did you get this extension? I downloaded and installed the PDF import extension from AOO extensions site. If I click OK on the message box to force AOO to open the file, the resulting document opens in Writer and is nonsense. If I open Writer and use File > Open to try to force it to open a PDF file, the ASCII Filter message appears, signifying that AOO does not recognize the file format. No version of OpenOffice has ever been a PDF reader, and AOO 4.1.1 is not an option to open PDF files on my Windows 10 computer.
